Abstract
The diamagnetic susceptibility , the rotational magnetic moment , the magnetic shielding constant , and the spin-rotational magnetic interaction constant of the hydrogen molecule are calculated theoretically. The energy of the rotating molecule, under an external magnetic field, is calculated by means of the variational method using 7+2 term wave function. By expanding the energy in powers of the appropriate parameters, , , , and are determined and the relations between these quantities are obtained. Comparison with Ramsey's experiments is also made.
