Abstract
A urease negative strain of Cryptococcus neoformans was isolated from a patient with AIDS. The identification of the yeast was confirmed by physiological and pathogenicity tests. Clinically, the disseminated cryptococcal infection in our patient was identical to those reported in other patients with AIDS.Keywords
