Abstract
The probability of certain transition processes involving low-energy photons is investigated on the basis of Dirac’s recent method of field quantization. It is shown that the treatment using an expansion in powers of e 2 / ħc is inconsistent, as it leads to an infinite value for the probability, when one integrates over a low-energy photon.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
