11B NMR study of intermediate valent SmB6

Abstract
11B NMR studies of SmB6 support the intermediate valent character of the Sm ion: the Knight shift and linewidth data are constant over the temperature range 100-480K in agreement with its susceptibility behaviour. Furthermore, attempts have been made to explain qualitatively the electrical resistivity data.Keywords
