Fine-Structure Corrections and Electromagnetic Decays of Charmonium

Abstract
We calculate fine-structure corrections to the spectrum of particles in the charmonium model, assuming that the linear potential which confines the quarks is due to an effective vector exchange. We also calculate the electromagnetic decay rates between the various low-lying and states.
