Abstract
The advantages of the semiconductor diodes in certain applications of d-c power have led to the design and construction of rectifier units of very high current ratings, employing many diodes in parallel on each phase of the rectifier transformer. As with mercury-arc rectifiers with more than one anode connected to each phase, the designer is faced with the problem of current unbalance between parallel elements. Keywords
