Abstract
We have evaluated 30 cases of congenital hydrocephalus, most with a presumed early prenatal onset. The ten cases delivered in 1982 were studied prospectively. In 18 of the 25 nonsurvivors, no cause was apparent and many had multiple anomalies. The heterogeneity seen in this series is discussed in relation to intrauterine treatment. Keywords
