Abstract
Genetically modified mice have become an invaluable tool in modern biomedical and basic research. This review provides an overview of knockout and transgenic mice studied with regard to their cutaneous wound healing properties. In addition, several gene transfer studies are briefly introduced, which have further highlighted our knowledge on individual gene function in wound healingKeywords
