Abstract
In this paper, the spectral properties of the Boltzmann operator describing the transport of mono-energetic neutrons with anisotropic scattering in a slab are considered. The Hille-Yosida theorem is applied to obtain the semi-group of operators solving the initial-value problem. Keywords
