Abstract
Identity of natural adenylyl 2,3-diphosphoglyceric acid from mammalian blood with the authentic compound was demonstrated by chemical analysis, paper and Dowex XI (formate) chromatography, and enzymic analysis. An alternative chemical name was proposed: adenosine 5''-pyrophosphate 2-phosphoryl-3-glyceric acid. Keywords
