Abstract
The paper shows a method for the calculation of beginning times of activities in networks with stochastic durations. The method takes into consideration moments of duration up to the order k. The moment method has the advantage that it does not need other information about distribution functions. The accuracy for small k is already* high. For k = 2 (taking into consideration expected values and variances) we get good results. The theses from paper [9] are confirmed by these results. Keywords
