Abstract
During the last three years the serum of patients suffering from various haematological disorders has been investigated as a routine measure for the presence of white cell antibodies, using a method previously described. The characteristics of white cell antibodies have been extensively studied by Dausset. In total 920 sera have been investigated. The majority of the patients had been treated with multiple blood transfusions. Each serum was tested with at least 3 different freshly prepared white cell suspensions from group 0 donors. All positive results have been checked at several intervals. Doubtful reactions have been excluded from the present material. Keywords
