Abstract
Equilibrium constants for the ionic association of 2-, 3- and 4-picoline N-oxide perchlorates and semiperchlorates, as well as the limiting conductances of simple (BH+) and complex (BHB+) cations in acetonitrile have been determined conductometrically. Acidity constants of the protonated 2-, 3- and 4-picoline N-oxides and homoconjugation constants of the protonated picoline N-oxides with free N-oxides have been determined from potentiometric measurements. The influence of the position of the methyl group on ionic equilibria in acetonitrile solutions of the picoline N-oxides perchlorates has been discussed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
