Abstract
The optimization of linear multivariable systems often leads to simultaneous Wiener-Hopf equations. In this paper a new method is developed for solving equations of this type. Unlike previous techniques it gives an explicit solution without requiring the spectral factorization of matrices. Examples are given to illustrate applications to control and filtering problems.Keywords
