Abstract
The frequency of dicentric chromosome production in irradiated leukocytes is directly proportional to the square of the dose. Also, it appears to be independent of the x-ray energy level and of the dose rate in vitro. The results indicate that the frequency induced in vivo can be a factor of 2 higher or lower than the frequency in vitro for the same dose of radiation. Keywords
