Abstract
A cyst in the floor of the mouth of a 2-yr-old boy was characterized by smooth muscle tissue with an overlying epithelial lining of varying morphology including gastric mucosa. The combination of smooth muscle with a variety of epithelial linings argues against the "misplaced anlage" histogenesis. Keywords
