Abstract
Research into the interactions between pasture, animals and trees is being undertaken by several government departments and private organisations, mostly near Rotorua, an area of high rainfall and well drained volcanic soils. Results to date have shown that agroforestry is technically feasible and further research, to provide the data that will allow full economic assessment to be made, is in progress. Keywords
