Abstract
Treatment of supercoiled pBR322 DNA with ozone resulted in the conversion of closed circular DNA to open circular DNA. Restriction analysis of the resulting open circular DNA showed that ozonolysis in the absence of salt caused single strand cleavage at specific sites. Keywords
