Abstract
The inheritance of DDT-resistance in a Trinidad-strain, a Malayan strain, a dieldrin-resistant Puerto Rico strain, and a strain developed by malathion selection, was investigated by crossing with marker strains. In all cases it showed linkage with the markers yellow and spot on chromosome 2, at about 25 crossover units from yellow. Evidence was insufficient to conclude whether the same gene was involved in DDT-resistance in all 4 strains. Keywords
