Abstract
Both pyruvic acid and methylglyoxal were found in frog and rabbit muscle either with or without the use of sulphite as fixative and under both aerobic or anaerobic conditions. They were isolated as the 2:4-dinitrophenyl-hydrazone and -osazone respectively. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
