Abstract
We show that the large discrepancies between single- and multiconfigurational Dirac-Fock calculations and experiment recently obtained for certain binding and Auger energies of Ar, K, Kr, Rb, Sr, and Xe, can be removed by including easily computed symmetric-exchange-of-symmetry correlations. Keywords
