Abstract
The objective finding that cancer and tuberculo sis are less frequently associated than would be expected from the product of the probabilities of each alone may be interpreted in 2 ways: (1) as an "antagonism" between the 2 diseases; (2) as a result of the short time between onset and death. The first interpretation is strengthened by detailed study of autopsy protocols and by the results of treating cancer with tuberculin. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
