Abstract
Of 305 specimens of sputum, 161 cases showed the same type by both Neufeld and the mouse methods; in 80 cases no type was obtained by Neufeld while from the mouse 1, 2 or even 3 types were isolated; in 61 cases the Neufeld was positive and the mouse not done. Therefore Neufeld test authors found to be 99.4% accurate when positive. Keywords
