Abstract
The preliminary results of an investigation of the frequency dependence of the polarizability of the itinerant oscillator model for dielectric absorption in polar liquids are presented. The calculation of the frequency dependence of the polarizability is effected by means of the Langevin equation and linear response theory and full account is taken of inertial effects. Keywords
