Cecal Fistulation in the Horse

Abstract
A surgical procedure for establishing a chronic fistula into the cecum of a horse is described. A method of closure is described using a nylon plug apparatus which prevents leakage but allows convenient access to all parts of the cecum. Copyright © 1968. American Society of Animal Science.
