Abstract
The eye diagram of a 320 Gbit/s optical signal was clearly observed by using an optical sampling system with a passively modelocked fibre laser for the sampling pulse. The generated sampling pulse was very stable. The time resolution of the system was 700 fs and the timing jitter was 80 fs.Keywords
