Abstract
Epididymal maturation of spermatozoa was studied in 8 sexually mature goats. The parameters studied were biometry, loss of cytoplasmic droplet and motility. Along the epididymal duct, the size of the sperm head increased while the cytoplasmic droplets were progressively and gradually lost. The cauda sperm showed forward motility, a property conspiciously lacked by the caput and corpus spermatozoa. Possible relation of these changes with the development of fertility is discussed. Keywords
