Abstract
In female mongrel dogs ureteral peristalsis was determined by manometric tracings after partial ureteral obstruction. No significant changes in the frequency or amplitude of ureteral contractions were produced by partial obstruction. The resulting intraureteral pressure which is normally zero, is increased to 10 to 30 cm of water pressure and may produce hydroneph-rosis.Keywords
