Abstract
It is demonstrated that the susceptibility of the Heisenberg model of magnetism very closely follows a power law in the high-temperature limit as well as in the limit of the Curie temperature. In the high-temperature region the exponent is a function of coordination number and spin value. The discussion is limited to isotropic three-dimensional systems. The analysis should be useful for the extraction of magnetic moments from experimental data. Keywords
