Abstract
Consider [image] individuals and [image] attributes. One attribute is a "criterion;" its presence or absence is to be predicted from that of the other attributes. A computerized method is described of dividing the individuals into groups having different probabilities of possessing this criterion, and defined by some of the non-criterion attributes. The method holds in some situations where multiple regression fails and [image] is too large to allow discriminant analysis. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
