Abstract
Simultaneous determinations of the renal clearance of I131-labeled diiodotyrosine and I133-labeled iodide have been performed. Differential measurement of the 2 isotopes was found to be technically feasible. The apparent renal clearance of diiodotyrosine is lower than the true clearance because of intrarenal deiodination of diiodotyrosine. Keywords
