Abstract
Digital processing was successfully introduced into television sets by our system of VLSI circuits. It is the next logical step to replace the even more complicated analog processing in Video Tape Recorders (VTRs) of the well known systems (VHS, Beta, Video 2000) by digital means. Keywords
