Abstract
Summary: The volume of sediment deposited in Strines Reservoir, Yorkshire, over a period of 87 years indicates an annual loss of material from the area draining into it equivalent to a layer of 0.04 in. thickness from the whole of the valleys, or 0.12 in. thickness if it is assumed that the material is derived very largely from the steeper slopes.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
