Abstract
We analyze the interaction of a magnetic monopole with a massive spin-one particle that has an extra permanent magnetic moment, as well as an extra gauge-invariant interaction, quadratic in the monopole magnetic field, an induced magnetization. This interaction can lead to bound states. The corresponding bound-state energies depend critically on the strength of the induced magnetization. Keywords
