Abstract
This paper describes a case of pancreatic A-cell tumor associated with severe diabetes mellitus and high levels of serum extractable glucagon-like activity. The tumor was detected clinically about 6 mo. before diabetes mellitus became manifest. It is suggested that the development of diabetes mellitus in this case may have been influenced by the tumor and by the elevated serum glucagon-like activity. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
