Abstract
By the use of phytopharmacological methods the following results have been obtained: Examination of spinal fluids reveals that pernicious anemia toxin is present in that fluid and thus throws light on the spinal lesions in pernicious anemia. Studies on blood serum from cases of leprosy reveal the presence of a very powerful toxin and such examination easily differentiates leprosy from tuberculosis and syphilis because the latter are less toxic for plant protoplasm. Examination of eclampsia blood speaks in favor of its not being of toxic origin. Studies on toad, bee and snake venoms and secretions show that these are extremely toxic for plant protoplasm.
