Ceratocystis tremulo-aurea Davidson et Hinds was found as-sociated with black cankers of Populus tremuloides (Michx.) in Colorado. Ceratocystis megalobrunnea Davidson et Toole was isolated from sap-wood of cut Quercus nuttallii Palmer near Stoneville, Mississippi. Little is known of their host relationships or methods of dissemination.
