Abstract
A case of adult [human] self-healing histiocytosis, classified as generalized eruptive histiocytoma, is reported. Ultrastructural investigation of the cytoplasm of tumor cells revealed the presence of many dense and laminated bodies. The origin and possible importance of the bodies are described and discussed. The need for qualitative study of cytoplasmic markers in histiocytic proliferations of the skin is emphasized. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
