Abstract
A solution is presented for the spectrum of high-energy electrons confined to a region where the main energy-loss mechanism is Compton scattering in the extreme Klein-Nishina limit. The solution is valid in the steady-state limit assuming the region under consideration is optically thin to the emitted photons. Keywords
