Abstract
A 50-year-old woman presented with a long history of nausea, abdominal pain, weight loss, and intermittent watery diarrhea. All investigations were negative except for the finding, on five separate colonoscopic biopsies, of a layer of band-like collagen beneath the surface epithelium, diagnostic of collagenous colitis. Keywords
