Abstract
EDITOR,—We wish to respond to the letters1 about our case-control study of risk factors for acanthamoeba keratitis in people who use contact lenses.2 We undertook the study to determine the reasons for the increase in the number of cases of acanthamoeba keratitis seen at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
