Abstract
CO2 laser saturation of the ν3 internal-vibrational mode of ReO4− molecules embedded in alkali-halide matrices has been observed near 10.8 μm. Excited-state lifetimes (T1) of the ReO4− internal-vibrational mode as a function of temperature between 1.3 and 300 K were extracted from the saturation data. Keywords
