Abstract
Nonlinear behavior of conduction and valence electrons in semiconductors and semimetals due to nonparabolic or warped energy bands exhibits resonance behavior in magnetic fields which increases the nonlinear excitation by many orders of magnitude for intraband and interband transitions. Higher harmonics generated by the electrons in warped parabolic energy surfaces are linear in electric field at high powers of incoming radiation. Keywords
