Abstract
Extensive arterial dissection producing significant arterial obstruction or occlusion after technically uncomplicated percutaneous transluminal angioplasty in three patients is described. Despite the initially ominous arteriographic appearance, short-term (4-8 months) follow-up demonstrated complete resolution without surgical intervention. A trial of conservative management is recommended for this complication. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
