MULTIPLE LEIOMYOMAS OF THE ESOPHAGUS

Abstract

Leiomyoma is the most common solid benign tumor of the esophagus. Although leiomyomas are usually solitary, multiple tumors occur in about 4 per cent of cases. A patient with 2 separate leiomyomas of the esophagus is reported and the clinical and roentgenographic features of esophageal leiomyomas are reviewed.
