Abstract
Methods of measurement and analysis of components of a five-mile extra-high-voltage direct-current test line and associated facilities are described. This paper presents new methods of recording and analyzing data secured over a long period of time concerning radio influence, corona loss, insulator leakage, and surge currents. Information secured from these recordings and analysis will be important to the transmission engineer in designing the most economical high-quality EHV dc transmission line. Keywords
