Abstract
Greenhouse studies have shown that pelleting white spruce seed with baby powder and Captan 50-W significantly increased germination under exposed conditions. When Captan 50-W was used, the germinants were largely abnormal. Increased germination was apparently due to a more rapid absorption of water and the development of a moisture uptake system resistant to evaporational stresses. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
