Abstract
Achard Pierre, "Racism and Demography". The enonciative and argumentative analysis of an article by A. Sauvy on racism evinces certain forms of racist-inclined expressions in the discourse on demography. Demographical reasonings make sense only the standpoint of a nationalistic position where the right of citizenship is always essentialized. Of which grammatical relationships in the text (we-they) are the most direct expression. The use of demography by the media tends to accentuate tendencies which are already present in the field-subject itself.
