Abstract
We present a detailed analysis for the Langevin dynamics of a spherical spin-glass model (the spherical Sherrington-Kirkpatrick model). The effects of initial conditions on the ultimate dynamical behaviour are closely examined. In addition, the effects of temperature variations in the model are studied. Somewhat surprisingly, this simple model captures some of the effects seen in laboratory spin-glasses.Keywords
