Abstract
A case of trilobar pulmonary mucormycosis in a diabetic patient with severe obstructive pulmonary disease, successfully treated with systemic antifungal therapy and complete video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) resection, is presented. The VATS approach permitted accurate diagnosis and definitive therapy using lung-sparing techniques in a minimally invasive manner.Keywords
